I am the first Roots Rising alumni to become a full-fledged staff member. Through my work in Roots Rising Farm Crew, Market Crew, and Assistant Market Manager, I've been inspired to strengthen my community through our local food system. I believe that when we are well-nourished, feel held by our community, and are in the right relationship with the Earth, we can show up as our best selves, for ourselves and each other! I love Roots Rising because, at the end of the day, food accessibility and a strong local food economy build the strongest sense of home.
